Grounded Mental Health

Specializing in reproductive mental health, emotional regulation, and hormonal mood shifts.

Who I Work With

Whether you're in the thick of postpartum, navigating a fertility journey, managing PMDD, or simply feeling like your mental health shifted somewhere along the way — this is a space for you.

I work with women and birthing people across a wide range of experiences: anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar spectrum, perinatal loss, parenting stress, and hormonal transitions like perimenopause. Parenthood doesn't have to be part of your story for your experience to matter here.

My Approach

Care is guided by both clinical expertise and a holistic, whole-person approach. I’ve completed post-graduate training in treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through the National Curriculum of Reproductive Psychiatry, Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Reproductive Psychiatry, and Postpartum Support International. Sessions are offered virtually or in-person (Hawai'i ) to make care more flexible and accessible—especially for parents and people navigating full lives.

My Experience

My path to reproductive psychiatry has been shaped by years of experience across inpatient and outpatient settings, and by the privilege of walking alongside foster and adoptive families during some of their most tender moments.

Today, my work centers on the mental health journeys that are uniquely tied to hormones, reproduction, and life transitions — from adolescence through menopause. I care deeply about the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

About Me

I’m a mom of three young kids, living in the thick of the same life seasons many of my clients are navigating. I know what it’s like to feel stretched thin, overwhelmed, and still trying to show up with intention.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me chasing someone small, reheating the same cup of coffee, and doing my best to stay grounded in the chaos.

This work matters to me because I live it too—and it’s a privilege to support others as they find steadier ground in themselves.

What to Expect

Introductory Email

The "Let's connect" button will take you to a new patient screener form. I personally review each submission within one week. Once reviewed, my assistant will reach out with next steps - whether that's scheduling an appointment or offering referrals.

Intake Paperwork

You will receive intake paperwork through my secure medical record system, PracticeQ. This paperwork is designed to help you reflect on your history, strengths, and current concerns while giving me important information to understand your history before our first session.

Initial Evaluation

In this step, I’ll focus on understanding your individual story by asking thoughtful questions to explore your experiences and concerns. By the end of our session, we’ll discuss personalized treatment recommendations, which may include medication and supplementation as part of a comprehensive approach to your care. This thorough mental health assessment is designed to create a customized plan that aligns with your needs and goals.

Ongoing Support

During follow-up appointments, we’ll discuss how things are progressing and assess the effectiveness of your current interventions. Together, we’ll fine-tune and adjust your treatment plan based on what’s working well and what may need improvement. These sessions may also include brief psychotherapy or reviewing lab results as needed. Regular follow-ups, prompt communication, and accessible support ensure your care stays personalized and evolves with your needs.
